And I love him from here to the moon, and back down to the dirt.
I dig that yellow umbrella quite a bit, too. --------------- I am so flattered that would feature this in one of his journals! So I just want to thank him immensely for the exposure he's allowed me, on this photo. Thank you!
UPDATE: A long time ago, someone requested this as a print. Well I've finally fulfilled that request! It's now available as a print in several shapes and sizes!
Oh man, if this were to become a DD, I would be absolutely thrilled! I'm glad you see that sort of potential in it! Thank you!
Nope, no manipulation aside from noise reduction, and slight color vibrancy boost. The "spotlight" is actually just the sun coming in through the water. This is actually an underwater tunnel that runs through the water in the Polar Bear exhibit at the Detroit Zoo. It probably looks more like a spotlight, because the sun would only poke it's head through the clouds now and then that day (hence the umbrella, for when it rained), *and* the surface of the water is surrounded with fake icebergs. I was very very pleased with the lighting, though, and after his first walk through the tunnel like this (he was just being silly), I made him come back and do it again so that I could catch him under that light.
I'm so glad you like it, though! That means a lot to me!
Thank you! When I saw Ryan walk down the tunnel the first time, and the yellow of the umbrella against the blue of the water, I knew I had to get a shot!

Offensive, tongue in cheek, baby.

Thankfully my fiance is such a patient, and wonderful man, that he walked back and forth in here, just so I could get a good shot!
